"...geez...LA already has so few trees as it is, I can't believe they are chopping them down on the sides of the road. I went to LA about two years ago now...and I was so shocked at how few trees there are, and how you can see the divide between Beverly Hills and neighbouring areas by the fact that one side of the road is green and the other is grey. Awful." Lilia Grace Letsch, Tasmania.

How are we going to save city trees in the face of determined builders in our "mini-mall culture"?
"The battle we have fought, and are still fighting, for the forests is a part of the eternal conflict between right and wrong...
So we must count on watching and striving for these trees, and should always be glad to find anything so surely good and noble to strive for."
